Who We Are
HOPSA USA-CANADA is an association of past students of Holy Child School and Holy Child College from Ghana, residing in the United States and Canada.
We are part of the Holy Child Past Students Association (HOPSA), founded in 1973 in Ghana — united by sisterhood, service, and love for our alma mater.
The dream for HOPSA USA-CANADA became reality at our inaugural celebration on July 7, 2007 in Willingboro, New Jersey. More than 150 past students attended from the USA, Canada, Ghana, and the United Kingdom, alongside the then Headmistress of Holy Child School, Mrs. Veronica Minta Nyarku (of blessed memory), and Rev. Sisters who had taught at Holy Child School and Holy Child College.
Wherever you find Holy Child past students, you will see the virtues of the Catholic Christian education we received — Facta Non Verba.
Vision
To unite graduates of Holy Child Secondary School, Cape Coast, and Holy Child College, Takoradi — cultivating closer personal and professional relationships, sisterly fellowship, and aid to those in need.
Mission
To advance the interests of Holy Child Secondary School and Holy Child College, cooperating with leadership to promote educational advancement for current students.
To extend aid to those in need and provide care for sick members.
